CTET 2026 Application Form Released – Apply Online for September Session

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the CTET September 2026 Notification on its official website. Candidates who want to become teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in Central Government and CBSE-affiliated schools can now submit their online application forms for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026.

The online registration process has started from 11 May 2026, and interested candidates can apply till 10 June 2026 through the official CTET portal. The CTET September 2026 Examination is scheduled to be conducted on 06 September 2026 across various exam centers in India.

CTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

CTET is conducted for two papers:

Paper 1

For candidates who wish to teach Classes 1 to 5.

Paper 2

For candidates who wish to teach Classes 6 to 8.

Candidates must have completed Senior Secondary, Graduation, Diploma in Elementary Education, or B.Ed. qualification as per CBSE and NCTE guidelines. Applicants are advised to check the detailed eligibility criteria before submitting the application form.
