Educational Qualification

Mining Sirdar (T&S Grade C)

Candidates must possess any one of the following:

  • Matriculation (10th Pass) with a valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.
  • Valid Gas Testing Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate.

OR

  • Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering.
  • Valid Overman Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.
  • Valid Gas Testing Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate.

Surveyor (Mining) (T&S Grade B)

Candidates should possess:

  • Matriculation (10th Pass)

AND

  • Valid Surveyor Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.

Age Limit (As on 05 August 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 30 Years

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST – 5 Years
  • OBC (NCL) – 3 Years
  • PwBD – As per Government Rules
  • Ex-Servicemen – As per Government Rules
  • Departmental Candidates – As per NCL Rules

Salary

Mining Sirdar (T&S Grade C)₹47,330.25 per month
Surveyor (Mining) (T&S Grade B)₹51,103.12 per month

Apart from the basic salary, selected candidates will receive Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA, Medical Facilities, Leave Benefits, Provident Fund, and other benefits as per the National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA).

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted through the following stages:

  • Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination

The CBT will be 90 minutes long and carry 100 objective-type questions. There is no interview for these posts.
