ADA Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational qualification and age requirements to be considered eligible.

Educational Qualification

Candidates from relevant engineering disciplines can apply through different qualification routes. Depending on the discipline and selection route, eligible qualifications include:

• B.E./B.Tech with a valid GATE score
• M.E./M.Tech from IIT/NIT
• B.Sc. + M.Sc. with a valid GATE/NET score, wherever applicable
• B.E./B.Tech with M.E./M.Tech
• B.E./B.Tech with two years of relevant experience
• B.Sc. + M.Sc. with two years of relevant experience, wherever applicable
• B.E./B.Tech in the relevant engineering discipline

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for candidates applying for ADA Project Assistant Recruitment 2026 is 28 years.

ADA Project Assistant Salary/Stipend 2026

Selected candidates for the Project Assistant-I posts will receive a monthly stipend as per their qualification.

• B.E./B.Tech (First Class) only: ₹31,000 per month
• Other eligible candidates: ₹37,000 per month

The applicable HRA and other conditions will be as per the recruitment rules.

 Selection Process

The selection process depends on the qualification through which a candidate is eligible.

Interview 

Candidates having B.E./B.Tech with a valid GATE score or M.E./M.Tech from IIT/NIT may be considered through the interview-only route.

Written Test + Interview

Candidates qualifying through other eligible routes, such as B.E./B.Tech with M.E./M.Tech, relevant experience or B.E./B.Tech alone, may be shortlisted through a written test followed by an interview.
