BEML Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Overview

BEML’s official recruitment portal currently shows the L&D/01/2026 apprentice registration as open with a closing date of 08 September 2026.

BEML Apprentice Vacancy 2026

The total 1,346 training slots are divided into Graduate, Diploma and ITI apprenticeship categories:

The Graduate category includes technical engineering graduates as well as general graduates, while the largest share of vacancies is for ITI Trade Apprentices.

Location-Wise Vacancy

The 1,346 apprenticeship slots are available across four BEML manufacturing complexes:

The KGF Complex has the highest number of available training slots with 608 vacancies, followed by Bangalore with 400, Mysore with 227 and Palakkad with 111.

BEML Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must possess the relevant qualification prescribed for the particular apprenticeship category.

Graduate Apprentice

Candidates applying for Graduate Apprentice positions should have:

• A 4-year full-time B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering discipline for Graduate Technical Apprentice posts.
• A 3-year full-time graduation degree such as B.Sc, B.Com, BCA or BBA for Graduate General Apprentice posts.

Diploma Apprentice

Candidates should have a 3-year full-time Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline.

Available disciplines include areas such as:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Electrical/Electronics
• Electronics & Communication
• Computer Science/Information Science
• Automobile and other notified disciplines.

ITI Trade Apprentice

Candidates should possess a full-time ITI qualification in the relevant trade. The notified trades include Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Welder, Electrician, Mechanic Diesel, COPA, Carpenter, Plumber, Motor Vehicle Mechanic and other trades.

Age Limit

The minimum age is 17 years as on the prescribed date. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable according to the applicable apprenticeship rules.

BEML Apprentice Stipend 2026

Selected candidates will receive a monthly apprenticeship stipend according to their qualification/category:

• Graduate Apprentice: ₹12,300 per month
• Diploma Apprentice: ₹10,900 per month
• ITI Apprentice: ₹9,600 to ₹10,560 per month, depending on the trade.

Note: This is an apprenticeship stipend and not a regular BEML employee salary.

Selection Process

One of the major benefits of this recruitment is that there is no written examination or interview.

The selection process is based on:

5. Final engagement as an apprentice
