The Physical Efficiency Test consists of three events:
800 Metre Run

- Female performance for maximum marks: less than 176 seconds
Long Jump
- Maximum Marks: 30
- Male: more than 5.57 metres
- Female: more than 4.36 metres
Shot Put
- Maximum Marks: 30
- Male: more than 8.76 metres
- Female: more than 7.20 metres

MP Police Constable Selection Process 2026
The selection process consists of the following stages:
Stage 1 – Written Examination
A 100-mark Computer Based Test is conducted by MPESB.
Stage 2 – Physical Efficiency Test & Physical Measurement Test
Candidates qualifying for the next stage have to undergo the prescribed PET and PMT.
Stage 3 – Document Verification
Candidates have to present their original educational, identity, category and other required documents.
Stage 4 – Medical Examination
