UIIC AO Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational qualification, age limit and other conditions as on the specified dates.
Administrative Officer – Generalists
Candidates should have a Graduate or Postgraduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised university/institution.
The qualification may be from disciplines such as:

- Commerce
- Engineering
- Agriculture

- Other recognised disciplines
Minimum Marks
- General/EWS/OBC: 60%
- SC/ST/PwBD: 55%
The qualification must have been obtained through the prescribed 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent system by 30 June 2026.
Working knowledge of computers is mandatory.
Administrative Officer – Hindi Officers
Candidates applying for the Hindi Officer discipline must possess a Master’s Degree from a recognised university with Hindi and English in one of the combinations prescribed by UIIC.

- SC/ST/PwBD: 55%

Selected candidates will receive the Administrative Officer Scale-I pay as prescribed by UIIC.
Pay Scale
₹82,485 – ₹1,56,745
The approximate gross salary is around ₹1.10 lakh per month at metropolitan centres, along with applicable allowances and benefits.
