The recruitment is being conducted for the following posts:
1. Agniveer (SSR – Senior Secondary Recruit)
Candidates selected under this category will serve as technical sailors in the Navy.
2. Agniveer (MR – Matric Recruit)
MR candidates are recruited for roles such as Chef, Steward, and Hygienist in the Navy.
These posts are offered under the Agnipath Scheme, where candidates serve for 4 years in the Indian Armed Forces.

Educational Qualification
Agniveer SSR
Candidates must have:
Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Mathematics and Physics
One additional subject from Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science
Minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
OR
3-year Diploma in Engineering with 50% marks.
Agniveer MR
Candidates must have:
Passed 10th (Matriculation) from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks.
Age Limit
Age eligibility depends on the batch:
01/2027 Batch: Candidates must be born between 01 December 2004 – 31 May 2009
02/2027 Batch: Candidates must be born between 01 May 2005 – 31 October 2009
Candidates within these birth dates can apply for INET 2026.
Application Fee
Application Fee: ₹550 + 18% GST

Admit cards will only be issued to candidates who successfully pay the application fee.
Selection Process
The selection process for Indian Navy Agniveer SSR & MR recruitment will be conducted in multiple stages:
Stage 1 – INET Examination
Candidates must appear for the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) which is a computer-based exam.
Stage 2 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Candidates who qualify Stage-1 will be called for the physical test.
