What is the RTE Admission Scheme?
The RTE admission process is implemented under the Right to Education Act, which ensures free and compulsory education for children between 6 and 14 years of age. As per the rules, private schools must reserve at least 25% of seats at the entry level for children belonging to economically weaker sections and disadvantaged groups.
Through this initiative, the government aims to provide equal access to quality education and reduce educational inequality.
Classes Covered Under RTE Admission
Students can apply for admission in entry-level classes such as:
Nursery
KG-1 / KG-2

The available classes may vary depending on the school.
