Educational Qualification
The educational qualification varies according to the post/trade.
Candidates may be required to have qualifications such as:
- 10th Pass / Matriculation
- 10+2 / Intermediate
- ITI qualification
- Diploma in relevant technical discipline
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
- Additional trade-specific experience or licence wherever prescribed.
For example, candidates applying for Warrant Officer (Cipher) must have 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and English along with the prescribed technical qualification, or the relevant Bachelor’s Degree. For several Rifleman technical trades, 10th pass with ITI or relevant Diploma is required.

Age Limit
The age limit is post-wise and will be calculated as on 1 July 2026.
- Rifleman / Havildar Posts: 18 to 23 Years
- Warrant Officer Posts: 18 to 25 Years

Physical Standards
