MECL Non Executive Recruitment 2026 – Educational Qualification

Accountant
Candidates should have a Graduation degree, Intermediate pass of CA/ICWA, along with the prescribed experience.
Technician (Survey)
ITI in Survey or Diploma in Survey.
Technician (Sampling)
B.Sc. Degree from a recognized institution/university.
Technician (Laboratory)
B.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics or Geology with Mathematics, or B.Com, as prescribed for the post.
Assistant (Materials)
Degree in B.Sc. or B.Com.
Assistant (Accounts)
B.Com Degree.
Stenographer (English)
Any Graduate with a prescribed Shorthand Certificate of 80 words per minute in English.
Assistant (Hindi)
Graduation with Hindi and English as subjects, as prescribed.
Electrician
ITI/Diploma in Electrical along with a valid Wireman Certificate and prescribed experience.
Machinist
ITI in Turner/Machinist/Miller/Grinder or relevant Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering, along with prescribed experience.
Technician (Drilling)

MECL Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 30 years for UR/EWS candidates for the Non-Executive posts.
Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories according to Government of India rules.

MECL Non Executive Recruitment 2026 Application Fee
Candidates belonging to General/OBC/EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹500.

MECL Non Executive Selection Process 2026
The selection process consists of multiple stages depending on the post:

Selected candidates will be appointed in different IDA pay scales from W-3 to W-7, depending on the post.
