SBI SCO Recruitment 2026 – Educational Qualification

The educational qualification and required experience are different for each post.

Deputy Vice President Posts

Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech in any discipline or MCA/M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc in any discipline from a recognised university or institution.

The required experience is generally 12 years or more, depending on the particular DVP post, with substantial experience in areas such as technology, digital services, cyber security, BFSI IT or related domains.

Deputy Manager – AI Specialist

Candidates should possess a B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science, Data Science & AI, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics or an equivalent discipline.

For Bachelor’s degree candidates, a minimum of 50% marks is required.

Candidates must also have 4 years of post-qualification IT experience, including relevant experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI/RAG pipelines, cloud ML or related technologies.

Deputy Manager – IT Security Expert

Candidates should have the prescribed technical qualification in relevant disciplines such as Computer Science, IT, Electronics or equivalent, with the required marks and 4 years of post-qualification experience in Cyber Security/IT.

Deputy Manager – Cyber Security Analyst

Candidates should possess the prescribed technical qualification in the relevant field and have 4 years of post-qualification experience in Cyber Security/IT.

Manager – Manpower Planning & Recruitment

Candidates should have an MBA/PGDM/PGDBM or equivalent qualification with specialization in HR/HRD/HRM from an AICTE/UGC/Government-recognised institution.

The required experience is at least 6 years of post-basic HR experience, preferably in the IT industry or IT vertical of BFSI.

Manager – Learning & Development

Candidates should have the prescribed MBA/PGDM/PGDBM or equivalent HR qualification and at least 6 years of post-basic HR/Training experience.

Dy. Chief Technology Officer – Enterprise Architecture

Candidates should have an Engineering degree or MCA. B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Computer Technology or Electronics is preferred.

TOGAF Certification is compulsory.

Candidates require a minimum of 18 years of overall IT experience, including relevant experience in regulated financial services/BFSI, senior executive roles and architectural functions.

Vice President – Enterprise & Technology Architect

Candidates should have the prescribed engineering/MCA qualification and TOGAF Certification.

A minimum of 15 years of overall IT experience is required, including relevant senior executive and architectural experience.

SBI SCO Age Limit 2026

The age limit varies according to the post.

The age will be calculated as on 31 July 2026.

Age relaxation for eligible SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates will be applicable according to the prescribed Government of India/SBI rules.

SBI Specialist Officer Salary / CTC 2026

SBI offers attractive pay scales and CTC packages for the Specialist Cadre Officer posts.

For regular posts, candidates may receive benefits such as DA, HRA, CCA, PF/NPS, LFC, medical facilities and other applicable perks.

For contractual posts, CTC will depend on the candidate’s experience, current salary and CTC negotiation with the Bank.
